Only a few months old, Culver & Main is a welcome addition to downtown Culver City’s breakfast scene. Among its varied offerings, the breakfast burrito stands tall. Wrapped in a toasted tortilla and served with an inviting diagonal cut, it reveals a careful layering of thin, perfectly crispy hash browns, avocado smash, fluffy eggs, and your choice of protein. I opted for bacon, which, had it been crispier, might have elevated the burrito to the next level. Still, the burrito shines thanks to its remarkable hash browns and thoughtful ratios. The unexpected star is the C&M hot sauce, one of the sauce options offered. Fermented and just fiery enough, it adds both acidity and heat, reminding me fondly of the Fel-fel sauce at Sobuneh. Now the only question: when can I order a bottle?
